House Finds Biden Committed Impeachable Offenses, But Won’t Do Anything
Many factors came together over the past 60 days that resulted in Joe Biden withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race. The most public reason is Biden’s dismal and embarrassing performance in his debate with Donald Trump on June 27. However, even more embarrassing information has surfaced: Joe Biden was found by both the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Judiciary Committee to have committed impeachable offenses.
The problem? Congress will not be doing anything about it. This, by itself, is unconstitutional. Biden clearly committed acts that demand his removal from office. That Congress won’t act should upset all Americans.
First, let’s look at the committee’s stated reasons for not moving forward with Biden’s impeachment:
Biden has already stepped down from the presidency. The report states that Biden “has stepped down and handed over the reins of the Democratic Party to his vice president, Kamala Harris”.
The timing of the report’s release coincides with Biden being honored at the opening of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, suggesting it may be more of a political statement than a precursor to formal proceedings.
The report is described as putting “a finishing touch on a scandal that began in 2019,” implying it’s meant to conclude the investigation rather than initiate new proceedings.
With Biden no longer in office, the practical purpose of impeachment—removing a sitting president from power—is no longer applicable.
Biden stepped down from the presidency? He did no such thing. Biden bowed out of the presidential race, but he didn’t abdicate his office and hand it over to Kamala Harris. Biden is still holding the office of President.
Also, not moving forward with impeachment after discovering such overwhelming evidence of what amounts to treason simply because it would appear political shows exactly how spineless the Republicans are about upholding their oath to the Constitution. Democrats had no qualms about impeaching Donald Trump—twice. And the second time occurred when Trump had only weeks left in his term of office.
Overwhelming Evidence of Corruption and Treason
The 291-page report from Congress states the following:
“First and foremost, overwhelming evidence demonstrates that President Biden participated in a conspiracy to monetize his office of public trust to enrich his family.”
“Among other aspects of this conspiracy, the Biden family and their business associates received tens of millions of dollars from foreign interests by leading those interests to believe that such payments would provide them access to and influence with President Biden.”
According to reporting by Just the News, the committee cited evidence that Biden “actively participated” in an influence-peddling conspiracy by attending dinners with his family’s foreign associates and speaking to them over the phone. These interactions were documented by email evidence and testimony from several of Hunter Biden’s ex-business partners.
The Congressional committees also found clear evidence showing Hunter Biden used his father’s official position as vice president to “garner favorable outcomes in foreign business dealings and legal proceedings.”
The committees also found that during Biden’s presidency, the Justice Department deviated from normal practices in order to provide favorable treatment to Hunter Biden. It was Biden’s Justice Department that created roadblocks to prevent certain avenues of inquiry into the Biden family’s activities.
The Congressional report also states that Biden himself engaged in a coverup by lying about his and his family’s conduct. Specifically, Congress’s report states, “President Joe Biden conspired to commit influence peddling and grift. In doing so, he abused his office and, by repeatedly lying about his abuse of office, has defrauded the United States to enrich his family.”
The Federal Government is Now a Façade
America saw a Democrat-led House politically impeach Trump twice over unprovable allegations, and thus he was not removed from office. But now a Republican House will do nothing about provable corruption that amounts to treason by Joe Biden. This tells us that our Constitution has become nothing but a piece of parchment. It is now clear: the only thing that matters in Washington, DC is power for the Uniparty.
Legislators in each state should take notice of this inaction, and they would be wise to develop contingency plans for what happens when some of the States say “enough.” As this façade becomes more obvious, it is likely that some States will decide that being “United” is not such a good thing.
