Over the past several months, Cherie and I have been talking about creating a space in which we can address head-on the struggles that so many people face. And thus was born a new podcast, “Heal the Broken Hearted with Cherie Sheridan.” The podcast is designed to bring encouragement, wisdom, and practical strategies for anyone seeking emotional and spiritual healing. If you’ve ever felt weighed down by the burdens of your past, you WILL find value in this podcast.
Why This Podcast Matters
Our culture doesn't often prioritize inner healing. Instead, it tends to focus on quick fixes and surface-level solutions that fail to address the root of the pain. This podcast is different. It’s not about putting a Band-Aid on deep wounds; it’s about diving into the heart of the matter and finding lasting restoration.
Who is Cherie Sheridan?
If you’re not already familiar with Cherie Sheridan, let me take a moment to introduce her. Cherie is the founder of the On Track Restoration Project, a ministry dedicated to helping people realign their lives with their God-given purpose. For decades, Cherie’s been on the front lines of inner healing and deliverance ministry, walking alongside those who feel lost, broken, or bound by the past and helping them get healed. She’s written multiple books on the subject, including the book that wound up being the title of the podcast (book link: Heal the Broken Hearted).
In Biblical terms, Cherie is a “seer.” That is, she can inquire of God and He shows her things in the spiritual realm. This divine revelation often occurs to Cherie in the form of revelatory visions, and with those insights she helps people pray to remove the sources of ongoing pain and trauma from their lives.
I’ll be transparent: She’s done it for me, and it’s had profoundly positive ripple effects.
Cherie’s work is deeply rooted in compassion, and she has a profound understanding of the spiritual dynamics that underlie emotional pain. Using the unique gift God has given her, she helps people uncover hidden wounds and then get healed and free from the burdens of the past.
How the Podcast Started
Although Cherie’s books are full of great information, many people today get their information from audiobooks and other online sources. In talking with Cherie about this, the idea of starting a podcast came up. Cherie took that idea to God, and He affirmed it – it would be good for Cherie to start a podcast. I had offered to help her get it going, but it took an extra few days for me to be sure God was telling me to help out. And so, we started recording shows.
I’ll tell you this: I’m honored to be doing a show with someone who’s so passionate and effective in bringing people back to wholeness.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re living out of our car or you’re at the apex of corporate leadership. The goal of this show is to bring Biblical insights about emotional and spiritual healing to the table so people can learn about getting healed – and then actually get healed so they can move on in the freedom God promises.
In other words, this is not just another self-help podcast. It’s a journey rooted in Biblical principles, aimed at helping you uncover the layers of your pain and experience the kind of freedom that only God can provide.
