The Stargate Project: Is Trump Enabling the Deep State While Fighting It?
Those who want our government operating in accordance with the rule of law and free from deep state control are happy that Donald Trump is back in the White House. Since his inauguration on January 20, President Trump has signed multiple executive orders aimed at bolstering American values and American independence. Like many others, I’m thrilled with some of Trump’s first actions.
Here are just a few that I and many others score as victories:
ENERGY: Trump’s executive orders will now allow for oil drilling permits to be fast-tracked, all the way from Alaska to the newly renamed Gulf of America. His goal is to reduce our dependence on foreign energy, to stimulate related manufacturing sectors, and to make the U.S. an exporter of energy. One of his orders may even open the door for us to manufacture and buy incandescent light bulbs again – which makes my wife incredibly happy.
WOKENESS: Trump moved to rapidly dismantle all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the federal government. All federal employees in DEI roles have been placed on paid leave and their departments and programs have been shut down. Additionally, Trump ordered the end of affirmative action, which was started by Lyndon Johnson in 1965. He also put an end to transgenders serving in the military, plus his orders terminate all funding for educational programs or curriculum having to do with critical race theory or gender education.
When it comes to shutting down DEI and affirmative action hiring, I am particularly thrilled. When I earned my master’s degree in human resource training and development, I was repeatedly told the law was clear: people must be hired based on merit. Anything else was illegal discrimination. Thus, when DEI hiring began to take hold, I was among those saying the practice violated federal law. Trump is doing the right thing here with his goal for the United States to be a true "colorblind and merit-based" society.
THE BORDER: Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the southern border was much needed, as we have no clue about the criminal or military intent of those who crossed, nor what kind of diseases they brought with them. Not only will the military be deployed to the border, we’ll see the continued construction of the border wall. This policy will also help curb human trafficking, which has picked up significantly in recent years.
J6 PRISONERS: In a much-needed move, Trump commuted six sentences and then pardoned every other person who was imprisoned or took plea deals for their actions at or in the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. The overwhelming number of these people were unfairly targeted through the weaponization of our justice system.
As a side note, although Trump’s actions were a huge step toward restoring justice, it’s my personal opinion that a great many of the J6 prisoners need to be compensated by the government for the wrongs done to them. Additionally, it is my sincere hope that the expected incoming Attorney General will clean house at the Department of Justice.
Trump’s not-so-attractive moves
The wins I listed above are undeniably significant, but Trump’s alignment with another initiative has raised eyebrows among many deep state opponents. What I’m talking about is Trump’s endorsement of the Stargate project, a collaboration of Oracle, OpenAI, and Softbank. Stargate is a Larry Ellison-backed global data and surveillance initiative that ostensibly is designed to bolster America’s AI superiority. Ellison seems to have Trump’s ear on this, but facts are facts. In other words, if you put lipstick on a pig, the pig is still a pig. And although Trump is buying into the Stargate project, it is rife with implications for destroying our liberties and personal privacy.
Who is Larry Ellison?
For those who don’t know, Larry Ellison is the billionaire co-founder of Oracle who purchased nearly 98% of the Hawaiian island of Lanai in 2012 for an estimated $300 million. After acquiring nearly the entire island, Ellison invested heavily in its infrastructure, including renewable energy projects, sustainable farming, and luxury tourism. Think of it as an ultra-rich oligarch creating his own private fiefdom bubble, yet claiming it’s a model for any environmentally friendly, controlled society.
As much as Trump loves America, he’s also attracted to people like himself – people who have taken their great wealth and made changes in the world. Except when it comes to Ellison, this man may be more akin to being a megalomaniac in a James Bond movie.
Ellison's takeover of Lanai has given him a vision of broader ambitions. No, I’m not worried that Ellison will take over the world. I’m concerned that Trump’s innate desire to win – to be on top – will blind him to the fact that what Ellison is proposing is essentially a police state. After all, Trump can be blinded by loyalty, and for at least five years, Ellison has been pulling for Trump – such as holding a fundraiser for him in February of 2020 and then meeting with Trump in late November of 2020 to discuss how to challenge the election results.
Naturally, Trump likes Ellison’s Stargate because it’s a $500 billion investment that will create tens of thousands of U.S. jobs, and The stated purpose of the project is to put the United States at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI). To Trump, putting America at the top of the world in any arena is enabling America to win, and as we all know, Trump loves to win.
Concerns about Stargate
But there’s a cost way beyond the five hundred billion dollars. The cost is our liberty and freedoms. As I said earlier, Ellison’s Stargate sounds an awful lot like a police state. Listen to Ellison’s own words about the project in September, 2024:
“The police will be on their best behavior, because we’re constantly watching and recording everything that’s going on. Citizens will be on their best behavior because we’re constantly recording and reporting everything that’s going on.”
“Those kinds of applications – using AI – and we’re using AI to monitor the video, so if that altercation occurred in Memphis, the chief of police would be immediately notified. It’s not people that are looking at those cameras, it’s AI that’s looking at the cameras.”
“It would be, like a shooting … Immediately, an alarm is going to go off. We’re going to have supervision. Every police officer is going to be supervised at all times. And if there’s a problem, AI will report the problem and report it to the appropriate person.”
“We have drones. If there’s something going on in a shopping center, a drone gets there way faster than a police car … we have a new generation of autonomous drones.”
Then, on January 21st, we were also told Stargate will be used in healthcare. It sounds great: diseases will be cured at an unprecedented rate. Again, this kind of thing is music to Trump’s ears, but we should listen to what OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Larry Ellison said at a press conference with Trump the day after Trump’s inauguration.
Altman said, “We wouldn’t be able to do [Stargate] without you, Mr. President,” and “this initiative will create hundreds of thousands of jobs.”
“We will see diseases get cured at an unprecedented rate. We will be amazed at how quickly we’re curing this cancer and that one.” He also stated that AI would “cure the diseases at a rapid, rapid rate.”
Ellison came to the mic next, and among his comments, he said, “Little fragments of those [cancer] tumors float around in your blood. So you can do early cancer detection. If you can do it using AI, you can do early cancer detection with a blood test and using AI to look at the blood test,” Ellison said.
“Once we gene sequence that cancer tumor, you can then vaccinate the person —design a vaccine for every individual person that vaccinates them against that cancer. That mRNA vaccine, you can make that robotically, again using AI, in about 48 hours.”
LISTEN TO LARRY ELLISON FOR YOURSELF:
The truth about mRNA makes Stargate scary
Ellison pushing mRNA vaccines is just one aspect of what makes Stargate scary. Most Americans have learned that the mRNA injections were never tested properly, and that “safe and effective” was a lie. In fact, millions of people now want Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates behind bars for their lies and the fact that so many relatives, neighbors, and coworkers died needlessly because of their lies. With that, isn’t it interesting that it wasn’t until after Trump was elected that Trump and Ellison came out publicly to discuss the Stargate project?
At this point, my trust in the FDA, CDC, and NIH is so low, if they recommended everyone start eating cheesecake, I would immediately stop eating cheesecake. Dr. Robert Malone is the person who created mRNA technology, and he will be the first to tell you he created it for gene therapy, not vaccines. Not only did he tell me this to my face, it was also reported in a 2021 article in Nature and in a 2022 article in The Atlantic. To Malone, using mRNA for “vaccines” is misusing the technology.
Malone believes that spike proteins produced by mRNA vaccines could be cytotoxic, meaning they might cause damage to cells or tissues. He also believes mRNA technology used as vaccines can cause a multitude of unforeseen side effects, such as over-stimulating the immune system or creating other autoimmune disorders.
In my opinion, Trump would do well to sit down with Malone for three hours, the same way he did with Bill Gates earlier this month.
By the way, at the Gates-Trump meeting, Gates pushed for more mRNA use in health care. One must wonder – did Gates disclose to Trump that Gates makes huge profits on his mRNA investments? But I digress.
The Trojan Horse of Globalism
What’s deeply concerning regarding the Stargate project is that Trump, who has consistently railed against globalist agendas, appears to have been persuaded—or perhaps deceived—into supporting Ellison’s project. By aligning with Ellison and other technocrats in this effort, Trump risks giving approval to systems that could one day be weaponized against the very freedoms he currently champions – especially the next time a Democrat or globalist gets elected to the Presidency.
I have some hard questions:
Why would a President who champions religious liberty and limited government empower a tool that could ultimately be used to monitor and control the population?
Why is he aligning with billionaires who do not hold a biblical worldview but instead seek to consolidate power under the guise of “health” and “safety”?
The Double-Edged Sword of Power
It’s an uncomfortable truth that no leader is perfect, and even the most well-intentioned policies can have unintended consequences. Despite every executive order Trump has issued to restore our country to common sense, he may be enabling a surveillance initiative that puts America on the fast track to a police state.
As the saying goes, “be careful what you pray for.” Many Christians prayed fervently for Trump’s reelection, seeing him as the person who would stop the erosion of American values. But as another saying goes, “The devil is in the details.” Trump’s policies may be 95% aligned with solid, American values, but the remaining 5% warrants serious scrutiny. The Stargate project, in particular, should give every American pause.
Bottom line, I’m not saying Trump should not have been re-elected. We can and should celebrate his reinstatement to the White House and the return of common sense and Constitutional law. But we also need to remain vigilant about the broader implications of other initiatives Trump supports, such as the Stargate project.
If I had an opporutunity to share one concern with Trump about his Presidency, I would warn him that the Stargate project looks to be a road to a police state.
Why? Because not all that glitters is gold. Even the most promising initiatives can carry hidden dangers.
And then I would tell him to pray.
