Take a look at the amount of national debt our elected officials have obligated us to pay. This is why I turned off my give-a-damn. Extremely few people elected to make a difference (on BOTH sides of the aisle) actually want to make a difference. I've been beating my head against the voting booth wall for 46 years.

Argentina has been through this multiple times, although now they finally have a real patriot at the helm who is turning things around.
Any democratic form of government, including a republic, must of necessity be evil. This is clear from the scriptures. No amount of voting, marching, or political activism can possibly fix this and results only in wasting valuable resources or worse, contributing to the evil.
